news for hughes net costumers

i have discovered that with hughes net internet service the high ping rate is impossible to improve. This is due to the distance from the earth to the satellite in space some of the packets are getting lost. Also the transmitting of the signal from your satellite to the satellite in space then to hughesnet server then to the satellite in space again then back to your satellite causes the high latency causing online gaming lag time. I personnally think hughes net should be sued for false advertising and fraud. Their slogan mentions being "unbound" i find this humerus.  Point being hughes net sucks for online gaming and is very slow compared to other high speed isps.

i was wondering if anything can be done to decrease latency issues with Hughes-net. i am getting an average of about 850ms on speedtest.net. I have H7000s modem and Linksys WRT 54g v.4 router. please help
Maybe the laws of physics will not allow me to play online games through this isp?
